A community of women artists in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada who support and collaborate with each other on artistic projects and initiatives.

Founded in 2019, 44.4 challenges the isolation, exclusion, and lack of recognition faced by mother/artists within the arts community and society at large. It aims to address the societal norms and systemic barriers that diminish the visibility and value of mother/artists' perspectives and contributions.

The collective seeks to create a space where mother/artists can thrive, challenge stereotypes, and have their voices heard while promoting inclusivity, equality, and support for mother/artists in their artistic endeavours.
